About Sissy:

--UPDATE 11-28-10: Sissy is a sweet, somewhat shy little girl who loves to romp and play with her brothers. She has a very gentle disposition, loves to be held, and always wants to please. A natural "Tigger", she "bounces" wherever she goes. While she would do well in a home with children, her quieter nature makes her well suited for an adults-only environment. She gets along well with older dogs as well as her foster family's cat. If you're looking for a dog with a gentle spirit, Sissy's the girl for you! --

Sissy (female) is one five lucky puppies that were finally caught after 2 weeks of trying by a very dedicated TBR volunteer. They were in the woods in Northern Durham. Sadly their mother, who was a beagle, had been killed by a snake. They are approximately 8 weeks old and look like beagle/jack russell terrier or dachshund mixes. They are all a little timid right now due to lack of human contact during the first weeks of their lives, but they are coming around in their foster home. Sponsor: Sissy has been sponsored by Melinda and Don Hire In Memory of TV - a beagle who lived for food (except fruit)! Thanks Melinda!
