About Luna:
Update 1/23/12: HI! My name is Luna. I am a female silver tri color beagle. I was hit by a car on Dec.8th. Someone found me by the road and brought me to a local vet. The vet took an x-ray and determined my right hind leg was badly broken. I was to be euthanized after the 3 consecutive day period since I was considered a stray. I had someone looking out for me. A sweet lady at the vet felt I needed a chance and contacted the Triangle Beagle Rescue. They saved me and arranged for me to have surgery on my leg on Dec. 29th. Right now I am staying with my foster mom, foster dad, and 3 dog brothers. My leg is getting better and I had my staples removed last week. My 2 favorite times of day are meal time and snuggle time at night. I love to give kisses! I also like to smell everything and anything!
Luna is a new beagle in TBR who as taken in by a good samaritan after being hit by a car. She had a broken right rear leg that was repaired on 12/29/11. So far she is recorvering well and should be good as new in the next few weeks! Luna is a young, friendly, energetic girl. More info as we get to know her better!
Luna is being sponsored by TBR volunteer Anne Busby as a birthday gift for another TBR volunteer - Karen Carlton. Anne's message to Karen is "You are a great friend! Hope you have a wonderful birthday!" Thanks Anne!
