***Reduced Adoption Fee of $150.00.  Adopt a Senior, they are Great!!****Candy is an 8 year old sweet beagle who was rescued from a shelter in Virginia by a caring dog lover. Candy had been surrendered to the shelter along with 15 cats because her owner lost her home to foreclosure and could not take them with her to her new home. When a realtor heard the story, she went to check on Candy and found her trembling and scared in her cage and could not bear to leave her there knowing she would most likely be euthanized. Through the power of the internet and friends, Candy became a Tribeagle rescue and is happy again.

Candy has adjusted well to her foster home with a beagle sister and just 2 cats. She was quick to learn the electronic doggie door & is completely house broken, however we were told she does not like being crated. Candy is overweight but is learning to eat dog food rather than people food and will lose weight well because she is very energetic and loves to go on walks. She wags her tail a lot, loves to give “kisses” and likes to play with other dogs when taken to the local dog park.
