Guest Dogs

  Toby

Toby is 21/2 yrs. old, a very good, sweet dog, who would like more attention than I am able to give him.  He is great with children, other dogs, has been exposed to cats, and is very loveable.  He needs a good home, as I am moving to a smaller one and will have no yard for him.  He is crate trained.  Please contact Joyce at 919-274-5155, or email me at joycewehrle@bellsouth.net.  He comes with crate and toys, and am looking for a small remuneration.   Feel free to pass on to co-workers, etc.

Zoe

Zoe is a beagle who will be 2 years old on May 16th. Zoe is spayed and is up to date on her Bordetella, Rabies, and Distemper shots. Zoe has a great personality and loves to chew on her bone and get belly rubs. She can be mischevious if not monitored. She has seasonal allergies but they are not severe and I give her Benedryl in cheese. I am looking for an owner who can love her and has time for her because I don't want her to be kept in a crate all day. If you are interested please email me at OJAgnew@gmail.com

Clara

Clara is a 3-4 year old tri-color beagle,  She is house-trained and knows her basic commands. In foster care she has been exposed to other dogs, however she does not enjoy their company, but she is not aggressive. Clara enjoys being around human companions. Clara is a great dog. If interested in adoption Clara, please contact Thomas at tjcrouch@liberty.edu or at 704-962-2242. Clara is currently being fostered through the Humane Society of Cabarrus County.  Her foster says, " I would love Clara to find a loving, forever home."

Sara
Sara is a an extremely loving, funny, 9 year old Beagle with a great temperament and personality. Nine is actually still youthful in Beagle years. She enjoys long walks and playing tug of war as much as she enjoys snuggling on the couch and having her head scratched. Sara was rescued from Wake County Animal Shelter in February, when her original owners gave her up due to their work travel demands. When we first met her there, she was very outgoing and loving, but shaking all over from the trauma of being left at a shelter at 9 years old. She couldn't get out of there fast enough. The moment she got in the car, (she is very good in the car and loves to ride), she began to wag her tail and she hasn't stopped since. She adjusted immediately to our home and her 2 Beagle foster siblings.

Sara knows how to heel and walk on a leash, she is housebroken, she knows Sit, Stay, Speak, and she is working on some new tricks as well. She is extremely gentle and loving but she also loves to play. She's great with kids, but is best suited in a family with older kids or no kids just because of her age. She also loves being the center of attention and would do best in a single dog family. She is perfectly healthy but she does have Cushing's Syndrome, which isn't serious, and is common in older dogs. Without treatment, it can cause weight gain, excessive hunger and thirst, and possibly incontinence. Her former owners did not have it treated or diagnosed, but now she takes oral medication once a day and she is feeling great. She is up to date on all of her shots and veterinary care.

Sara needs a family with a lot of love to give as she sure deserves it. We will be sad to see her go, but we are excited for her to find her new forever family.    Please contact andy@andymartinjr.com for more information.

DINO

Dino is an 18 week old male purebred beagle. He weighed 19 pounds at the vet last week when he received his first shots. Dino is a shy dog and will need somebody who will work with him to get him out of his shell. He loves to play with other dogs and gets along great with them. We now can handle him very well, but it took him awhile to trust us. He is in foster care now for about two and half weeks and has made lots of progress with socialization. He is a sweetheart of a dog- no aggression whatsforever- just his shyness.  Home visit/ vet reference is required before adoption can be approved.Adoption fee through our local Animal Control applies. Dino is no longer at the shelter, he is with a loving foster family - so please write to jrgauction@skybest.com if you are interested in adopting him.

MILLER

Miller is 8 months old and 14 pounds. He's incredibly sweet and very social. Wonderful with people, dogs, and cats. Crate trained and almost housetrained. He's definitely prodominantly beagle, but his fur is sligthly longer and more fine than a typical beagle. Super nice little guy! He's neutered, vaccinated, wormed, and microchipped. On heartworm and flea prevention. His requested adoption fee is $200. Contact is adopt@ciafa.org
