|Good on leash|
Hi! My name is Casper. My two fur buddies and I were surrendered to Wilson County Animal Shelter by our owner. It was such a sad time for us. Did you know that dogs who are surrendered to shelters by their owners don’t have good odds of making it out of the shelter before their time is up? We don’t get as much holding time as strays, and I was so worried we wouldn’t be given the chance to experience how good life could be. But the good folks at the shelter called Triangle Beagle Rescue and we were whisked away to safety in no time!
Even though my name, Casper is a spooooooky, I’m a bit of a scaredy-cat (errr, “dog” that is!). My foster mama thinks I didn’t have a great life up to this point because I am nervous, and it can take me some time to warm up to new humans and surroundings. I’ve made some good progress in my foster home and now I will approach my foster humans to get scritches and belly rubs! I have the most funny, expressive eyebrows and my big ears feel like velvet. I’m so hopeful I’ll find someone kind and patient who can show me how good humans can truly be. I think it would be helpful to have a fur buddy to hang out with – this would help me build my confidence and be brave. I also would well in a home without a canine companion as long as my humans are home the majority of the day to dote on me. I hope I get to meet you soon!
