Woof woof! It’s me, Jalen, the 50-pound lovebug. I may be big, but I promise I won’t take up the whole bed… unless you let me! I love snuggling and belly rubs, but let’s be honest, who doesn’t? And don’t forget, I’m a bit of a foodie too – mealtime is one of my favorite parts of the day.

While I’m starting to show some interest in toys, I’m still learning what to do with them. Maybe you can teach me a trick or two? I’m fully potty trained and have never had any issues being in my crate, but honestly, I’m such a good boy that I don’t even need it. I’ve proven to be trustworthy overnight outside of the crate, but don’t worry, I won’t get into any trouble.

Now, I do have some things to work on, and it’s important that my forever home understands that. I am not a good fit for homes with younger children. While I’m very cuddly, I have trouble with boundaries and we’re working on manners like jumping and meal time. Sometimes I just get so excited that I have trouble containing myself.

I get nervous and a little defensive when people I don’t know come to my home. In fact, it’s the only time I bark! And I do get very upset at the vet, but trust me, my human stays with me and helps the staff sedate me.  Don’t get me wrong, I’m still a very sweet, happy boy. I just have some manners to work on. And it would mean the world to me if my forever home could understand that I may get a little upset when new or unfamiliar people come into our home. But if you’re ready and willing to help me learn and grow, and if you’re looking for a big, cuddly buddy, then look no further! I’m your guy!
