Jovie

My name is Jovie, you know named after a character the popular holiday movie “ELF”. I was rescued from the Duplin County Shelter around the holidays and have been loving being an indoor dog ever since.  I enjoy long naps, lounging in the sun, and car rides.  I have made beagle besties with the dogs in my foster home, and I really enjoy humans as well.  Sometimes I get a burst of energy and will play with toys but overall, I am a very chill dog.  I rarely bark and when I do, it’s because my humans are late with my meal. I don’t have to be crated, because I am a good girl and don’t get in trouble. I am progressing with leash walking; I usually just go to my backyard then back to relaxing. I have a spot on my skin that we are working on getting all healed up (it’s looking better every day) then I will be available to find my furever home. Could that be with you?
