Ralphie was afraid of everyone when he first arrived, now he walks up to complete strangers and introduces himself. He is a well-behaved, fun-loving boy. He loves to play chase with other dogs but is not too much into roughhousing. He can amuse himself for hours sniffing the backyard and playing by himself with make-shift toys of twigs and sticks he finds. (His mean foster mom doesn’t allow stuffies outside) He also loves playing with his toys inside. He gets along great with all dogs and is very sweet, respectful and gentle with his much older senior foster brother. Ralphie is house broken and walks well on a leash. He has already learned to sit for a treat. He would do best in a home with another dog for company and with a fenced back yard. He has not been tested with cats, but I think he would do fine, he has no aggression in him at all. I think he would do well with kids as long as they are old enough to be gentle with him. He doesn’t like being crated and is usually fine with the run of the house.
