Rosie

Rosie is a sweet and loving beagle girl who is looking for a new forever home because her family’s situation has changed and they are no longer able to keep her and her brother, Finn. These two are very special babies who love each other and would be happiest being adopted together.

Rosie weighs 22.8 pounds and is full of charm. She is house trained, crate trained, and does well with a consistent routine. She sleeps all night in her crate, eats in her crate, and is comfortable staying there for a nap.

Rosie is absolutely wonderful with children and has also done well in a home with lots of dogs and kids. She can be reactive to other dogs on walks at times, but she calms down quickly and it does not happen every time. She is curious about cats and may chase, bark, or howl at them, but with time and proper introductions, she may be able to adjust.

Rosie is a total sweetheart and loves being close to her people. She and Finn both enjoy attention and will happily compete for affection. Rosie also likes to imitate her brother, Finn. She tries her best to bay and howl like him, but she has not quite mastered it yet, which only makes her more endearing.

One of Rosie’s favorite pastimes is watching for rabbits in the backyard. She can spend hours on the screened-in porch keeping a close eye out for bunnies. She has also tried to copy Finn’s love of hard bones, though she has not quite figured out exactly what to do with them yet.

Rosie is up to date on her vet care and is on heartworm and flea/tick prevention. She is gentle, loving, and full of personality. Rosie would love a family who will appreciate her sweet nature, her funny little habits, and her bond with Finn.

Rosie and Finn are a precious pair who have so much love to give and are hoping to find a home where they can stay together.
