Ruthie

Meet Ruthie, a sweet senior girl who is ready to spend her golden years surrounded by love.

Ruthie’s journey hasn’t always been easy. She was transferred to Burlington Animal Services from the Guilford County Shelter before finding her way to Triangle Beagle Rescue. When she arrived, she was very underweight and suffering from severe dental disease. Over the past month, she has received the dental care she desperately needed and is steadily gaining weight, feeling better every day.

Ruthie is the definition of a gentle soul. She enjoys exploring the yard at her own pace before settling into a fluffy bed for one of her favorite long naps. She never says no to a tasty snack or a good fanny scratch, and she’ll greet you with the sweetest happy whimpers and wagging tail when you come home.

She is house trained and gets along wonderfully with dogs, cats, and children, making her an easy addition to just about any family. Ruthie doesn’t ask for much, just a comfortable place to rest, a little kindness, and someone to love.
